Ahem. I guess you could call me a geek (not a nerd, and yes, there is a difference). I've lived pretty much my entire life in Louisville. The things I look for more than anything in people are intelligence and wit. If you don't like learning new things, I'm not sure I'd like you. Sometimes I like trying new things - it depends on how adventurous I am that day.

I finally had the opportunity to travel to Europe last year and I can't wait to go back! I plan on attending the Winter Olympics in Vancouver next year and the Summer Games in London in two years (going to Olympics in English-speaking countries makes things a lot easier logistically).

My work schedule is extremely lame because its in the entertainment industry.. which means I almost always work weekends and typically 10 hours a day or more. Dont play as much as I wish I did. I get off on drum machines, synthesizers, sequencers, and whatnot on a nightly basis. Been in several bands and occassionally go out to see my friends' play or reherse. I have an avid appreciation for literature and art and wish I had more ppl to talk about such things sincerely with.. most of these friends have all moved away from here.

I've moved around alot - more or less because I didnt goto college, but I consider myself well read and educated. Learning is a past time. I need to travel out of the country sooner than later.. been telling myself that for 10 years now - during which time I've lived in Louisville, Denver, Tacoma, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, and spent an inordinate amount of time in Chicago and in a small 1 stoplight upstate town in NY called Bainbridge. Bane (n) 2b. A source of persistent annoyance or exasperation.

I'm a insomniac and have been ever since I can remember. If I'm wasting time watching TV.. I'm usually surfing for cartoons/adult swim/etc., science/history, or screaming inside my brain how much everyone should hate cable news. For the most part TV is just background noise though,. I've grown tired of it. When I'm feeling extra creative I'll do anything from digital art, photography, woodwork, painting, clay, or whatever hits me at the time. I'm an expert in few things but

I know enough to be dangerous (or embarrasing) in alot of things. I would tell you how much I know about computers and networking and more about my job, but honestly those are the things I'm generally the most sick of. I do love me some gadgets though. Last cool little gadget I got was a Stylophone handheld synth.. check it out on google if your bored. It's not really that fascinating though :)

I'm a gamer, mostly table top. I have studied martial arts since I was about 6. Studying to be a massage therapist. I am a very physical person. well lets see i guess you wouldnt consider me your typical guy. im not looking for any fling or a one night stand. i enjoy listening to music and watching movies amongst other things but typically i find myself lost in thought trying to unravel the mysteries of life. im not a huge people person id much rather a small gathering or people i know and trust than a party full of strangers. i strongly believe that our actions speak louder than words and thus am more likely to express myself through what i do than what i say. i prefer the outdoors over most other things and while i dont get out as much as id like to i can honestly say id be more relaxed and myself laying under the stars and contemplating the vastness of our universe than anything else. i consider myself an insightful person anything i say or do is almost always well thought out and planned beforehand. i believe some of the biggest mistakes in life are made when we dont consider the outcomes of our actions. when i first meet new people i dont always find it easy to strike up a conversation but given the chance i think im a rather interesting person.i like most types of music but am not a huge fan of rap i can listen to it but id rather not. i prefer songs with intricate or complex guitar rifts and solos, i listen to music for the instrumental sound more than what the lyrics say. movies are roughly the same i can watch almost anything but my favorites would fall under the thriller or scary catagory, i also enjoy comedies, action, and adventure. my ideal vacation would have to be anywhere near the mountains or wilderness beaches are nice but not really my idea of a great vacation. my sence of humor like most guys can be perverted at times, ive also been accused of having arather dark sence of humor. i dont find much humor in your typical mainstream comedy which just seems to be different people telling the same jokes weve all already heard. what am i afraid of? huh good question in all honesty i dont have any fears i believe life is to short to be held back our fears. i think if most people were to confront their fears theyd realize it was pretty silly being afraid of anything in the first place. what interests me most id have to say would be the persuit or knowledge or an understanding of the unknown. this is mostlikely the main reason for my curiosity about our universe which is so vast the possibilities for what we have yet to learn about it are limitless. well i could probly sit here all day and write little bits and pieces about myself but this should be enough to give anyone a general idea of who i am, and if you have any question then feel free to ask.

I consider my self a pretty funny person, but sometimes I find that I am the only one that is laughing at my jokes...oh well. I absolutely love to read. Sometimes I think I would rather just stay in with a good book instead of going out a partying. Currently I am reading this book called "Dred Scott's Revenge" and I believe it to be one of the best books I have read so far. I love the rain, but only when I dont have to be out in it. Some of the best days are spent inside listening to the rain just beating on the roof.

I wake up, go to work, come home and waste time before falling asleep. It's time to get out of the funk and start having some fun. I find writing about myself much harder than writing about anything else. I love to read, but it seems like I never have the time to read all the books I have on my list. I love that I am a student, yet I can't wait to graduate. I think big things are going to happen in my future. I believe I have the perfect combination of self assurance and love for people. One of the biggest things about me is that I'm always trying to learn something new or figure something out. When I'm at home you'll rarely find me watching tv without a book, keyboard or notepad in front of me. Outside of the house, I'm a lot more laid back. I love walking and exploring whether its in the woods, a cave, or just around town, especially if the area has a lot of older buildings. I also like to swim, bowl and play pool, not that I'll win any competions.
